Another example is wix.com, which is even more flashy. In fact it uses Macromedia Flash style website designs to entice customers, whereas Moonfruit largely relies on HTML website templates. Both companies offer similar pricing structures: it's free to use the software to build your site, but you have to pay to get a domain registered in your name, and you have to pay for web hosting. There are many more examples of this type of offer, but those are the famous ones. There's another website called webeden.com which offers something similar, but it's not as easy on the eye when you go to the first page, in my opinion.
But you may think differently. I, for one, enjoyed using the online website builder available at Moonfruit and wix.com. And I recommend you have a go on it to see if it's something you like. Particularly if you are thinking of having a website of your own. It's a good, fun way to learn the basics.
